Polyurethane (PUR)

Polyurethane is a hard foam formed by mixing the main components of polyol and isocyanate with catalyst substances under high pressure under special production conditions.

Providing superior thermal insulation thanks to its closed cell structure, polyurethane has high dimensional stability and does not absorb water. Bacteria do not grow in it. Thanks to its high compressive strength, its mechanical performance is quite good.

Mineral Wool

Mineral wool is the general name given to the fiber obtained by melting inorganic rocks and other inorganic oxides at high temperatures. Mineral wool, which has a fibrous and open cell structure, is an excellent choice for your structure in terms of sound insulation and fire resistance. In thermal insulation, it has lower insulation value than PUR and PIR.

In sandwich panels, mineral wool is sliced in our fully automatic production facility and its fibers are made perpendicular to the panel surface. Thus, the pressure resistance of the panel increases and its mechanical value improves.

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

Expanded polystyrene is a petroleum-derived, thermoplastic material. Polystyrene raw material, which has a very small granular structure, is first heated and expanded using water vapor. Pentane gas, an organic compound, is used to inflate the particles. After swelling, polystyrene particles adhere tightly to each other and take the shape of the mold they are in. Expanded polystyrene, which is molded into blocks, is cut into sheets and used.

Pentane gas replaces air at the end of this process. This still and dry air trapped in small closed porous particles enables EPS sheets to offer superior thermal insulation for your structures.

EPS is the most economical and lightest product among thermal insulation types.
